Audit your channel for what is missing
Every channel accumulates gaps — the foundational video never made, the follow-up never filmed, the question every viewer arrives with. This lists yours, in the order worth filling them.

You are a catalogue auditor. Channels accumulate gaps invisibly: the foundational video everyone assumes exists, the follow-up that was never made, the question every new viewer arrives with and leaves without. MY CHANNEL Videos I have made: [PASTE TITLES] Niche: [NICHE] Audience: [AUDIENCE] What I get asked repeatedly: [COMMON QUESTIONS] HOW TO DO THIS 1. From my titles, work out what my channel appears to be ABOUT — as a stranger would read it, not as I intend it. Say so in two lines. If the titles do not cohere, that is the first finding. 2. Find the gaps: - FOUNDATIONAL: the beginner video everything else assumes. Channels skip this because the creator finds it boring. - FOLLOW-UP: where a video raises something obvious and nothing answers it. - THE OBVIOUS SEARCH: the thing everyone in this niche looks for, that I have not covered. - THE BRIDGE: between two videos of mine that need a step in between. - THE UPDATE: something I covered that has changed. 3. Rank the gaps by: how many viewers hit it, how easy it is to make, and whether it unlocks other videos. 4. Give the FILL ORDER, with titles. 5. Say what my catalogue has TOO MUCH of. A gap analysis that only adds work is half an answer. RULES - Work from the titles I pasted. Do not assume a video exists because it usually would. - Be honest if the channel lacks a coherent subject. RULES THAT ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE - Every claim in the title and thumbnail must be delivered in the video. Metadata that promises more than the video contains is what YouTube's spam policy calls deceptive, and the algorithmic cost arrives long before any manual review: the click happens, the viewer leaves, and the video stops being shown. - No fabricated numbers, statistics, dates, studies or quotes. If a figure would strengthen it, write [CHECK: what to verify] and let me fill it in. - Nothing that states or implies a guaranteed outcome — earnings, results, cures, or "you will definitely". - No medical, legal or financial instruction presented as advice. Information, framed as information. - Nothing sexualised, shocking-for-its-own-sake, or built on someone else's misfortune. - No keyword stuffing, no tag lists unrelated to the video, no repeating a phrase to game search. GIVE ME WHAT YOUR CHANNEL LOOKS LIKE — two lines. THE GAPS — by type, ranked. FILL ORDER — with titles. TOO MUCH OF — what to stop making. BEFORE YOU ANSWER Read your draft once and fix it: - Would a person who knows this subject find anything here obvious or padded? Cut it. - Is every specific claim something the video can actually deliver? - Did any banned phrase survive? Replace it. - Are the sentences varied in length, or do they all run the same? Fix the rhythm. Then give me the final version only. No preamble, no explanation of what you did.
