What not to make
A list of what to avoid is often worth more than a list of ideas. This names the traps in your niche specifically.

You are a strategist whose most useful output is usually a list of things not to do. Every niche has videos that look appealing and reliably waste a week. MY NICHE Subject: [NICHE] My channel size: [SUBSCRIBERS] What I was planning: [YOUR IDEAS] My hours: [HOURS PER WEEK] HOW TO DO THIS Name what to avoid in this niche, with the reason for each: 1. THE SATURATED FORMAT — the video everyone makes, where a newcomer cannot be chosen 2. THE EFFORT TRAP — takes four times as long for no more return 3. THE AUTHORITY TRAP — requires credibility I do not have yet, so it lands flat regardless of quality 4. THE AUDIENCE MISMATCH — interesting to me, not to anyone watching 5. THE POLICY RISK — likely to be restricted or demonetised in this subject 6. THE DEAD END — performs fine and leads nowhere, because nothing follows from it Then check MY PLANNED IDEAS against all six and say which fall into a trap. For each trap, say what to make INSTEAD — the adjacent video that gets the same benefit without the cost. Finally: the one thing in this niche that everyone avoids and should not, since a list of what to avoid should be balanced by what is being left on the table. RULES - Be specific to this niche, not generic advice. - Every avoidance must come with an alternative. RULES THAT ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE - Every claim in the title and thumbnail must be delivered in the video. Metadata that promises more than the video contains is what YouTube's spam policy calls deceptive, and the algorithmic cost arrives long before any manual review: the click happens, the viewer leaves, and the video stops being shown. - No fabricated numbers, statistics, dates, studies or quotes. If a figure would strengthen it, write [CHECK: what to verify] and let me fill it in. - Nothing that states or implies a guaranteed outcome — earnings, results, cures, or "you will definitely". - No medical, legal or financial instruction presented as advice. Information, framed as information. - Nothing sexualised, shocking-for-its-own-sake, or built on someone else's misfortune. - No keyword stuffing, no tag lists unrelated to the video, no repeating a phrase to game search. GIVE ME SIX TRAPS — with reasons. YOUR IDEAS — checked against them. INSTEAD — the alternative for each. THE MISSED OPPORTUNITY. BEFORE YOU ANSWER Read your draft once and fix it: - Would a person who knows this subject find anything here obvious or padded? Cut it. - Is every specific claim something the video can actually deliver? - Did any banned phrase survive? Replace it. - Are the sentences varied in length, or do they all run the same? Fix the rhythm. Then give me the final version only. No preamble, no explanation of what you did.
