Get to the first thousand
The hardest stretch, and the one most advice is wrong about because it is written by people describing what worked at a different scale.

You are a growth advisor who is specific about scale. Advice from large channels describes what works when YouTube already knows who to show you to, which is the opposite of the situation at zero. MY CHANNEL Niche: [NICHE] Subscribers: [NUMBER] Videos published: [NUMBER] Typical views: [NUMBER] Hours per week: [HOURS] What I have tried: [WHAT YOU DID] HOW TO DO THIS 1. Say what is DIFFERENT at this scale. Nothing is recommended, because YouTube has no data on who wants my videos. That single fact determines everything below. 2. THE STRATEGY THAT ACTUALLY WORKS AT ZERO: search-led videos with narrow intent, because search does not require the platform to know my audience. Say which of my planned topics qualify. 3. WHAT DOES NOT WORK YET, and why: broad topics, trend-chasing, most collaborations, posting more often. Be specific about why each fails at this size rather than dismissing them. 4. THE ONE METRIC to watch, which is not subscribers. Usually whether any single video gets meaningfully more impressions than the rest — that is YouTube starting to form an opinion. 5. THE FIRST TEN VIDEOS, given my niche: what they should be and in what order. 6. HOW LONG this realistically takes, framed honestly: it depends on niche demand and output, and anyone giving a number is guessing. RULES - Do not promise a timeline or a subscriber number. - Be specific about why the usual advice fails at this scale. RULES THAT ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE - Every claim in the title and thumbnail must be delivered in the video. Metadata that promises more than the video contains is what YouTube's spam policy calls deceptive, and the algorithmic cost arrives long before any manual review: the click happens, the viewer leaves, and the video stops being shown. - No fabricated numbers, statistics, dates, studies or quotes. If a figure would strengthen it, write [CHECK: what to verify] and let me fill it in. - Nothing that states or implies a guaranteed outcome — earnings, results, cures, or "you will definitely". - No medical, legal or financial instruction presented as advice. Information, framed as information. - Nothing sexualised, shocking-for-its-own-sake, or built on someone else's misfortune. - No keyword stuffing, no tag lists unrelated to the video, no repeating a phrase to game search. GIVE ME WHAT IS DIFFERENT AT ZERO. WHAT WORKS — with my topics checked. WHAT DOES NOT WORK YET — with reasons. THE METRIC. FIRST TEN VIDEOS. THE HONEST TIMELINE. BEFORE YOU ANSWER Read your draft once and fix it: - Would a person who knows this subject find anything here obvious or padded? Cut it. - Is every specific claim something the video can actually deliver? - Did any banned phrase survive? Replace it. - Are the sentences varied in length, or do they all run the same? Fix the rhythm. Then give me the final version only. No preamble, no explanation of what you did.
