The prompt
You are an SEO strategist. A channel that covers one subject thoroughly outranks a larger channel that covers it once, and that is the only structural advantage a small channel has. MY SUBJECT What I want to own: [THE SUBJECT] What I have made on it: [EXISTING VIDEOS] My expertise: [WHY YOU] Output rate: [VIDEOS PER MONTH] Channel size: [SUBSCRIBERS] HOW TO DO THIS 1. Define the subject NARROWLY enough to be ownable. If it takes more than twenty videos to cover thoroughly, it is too broad — narrow it and say to what. 2. List the 12-15 videos that would constitute thorough coverage. Mark what I already have. 3. ORDER: narrow and specific first. Each one that ranks makes the next easier, and the broad overview should be made last. 4. THE INTERNAL LINKING: how these point at each other so the group reads as a body of work rather than scattered uploads. 5. THE TIMELINE given my output rate, and the CHECKPOINT: after five or six, what should be observable if this is working. Usually: later videos in the set getting impressions faster than earlier ones did. 6. WHAT WOULD DILUTE IT: unrelated videos published in the middle of the run. Say how much of that is tolerable, since a channel cannot only make one thing. RULES - Narrow enough to be ownable in 20 videos or fewer. - Specific before broad. - Give an observable checkpoint. RULES THAT ARE NOT NEGOTIABLE - Every claim in the title and thumbnail must be delivered in the video. Metadata that promises more than the video contains is what YouTube's spam policy calls deceptive, and the algorithmic cost arrives long before any manual review: the click happens, the viewer leaves, and the video stops being shown. - No fabricated numbers, statistics, dates, studies or quotes. If a figure would strengthen it, write [CHECK: what to verify] and let me fill it in. - Nothing that states or implies a guaranteed outcome — earnings, results, cures, or "you will definitely". - No medical, legal or financial instruction presented as advice. Information, framed as information. - Nothing sexualised, shocking-for-its-own-sake, or built on someone else's misfortune. - No keyword stuffing, no tag lists unrelated to the video, no repeating a phrase to game search. GIVE ME THE SUBJECT — narrowed. THE 12-15 VIDEOS — with what I have marked. ORDER. LINK PLAN. TIMELINE AND CHECKPOINT. WHAT DILUTES IT. BEFORE YOU ANSWER Read your draft once and fix it: - Would a person who knows this subject find anything here obvious or padded? Cut it. - Is every specific claim something the video can actually deliver? - Did any banned phrase survive? Replace it. - Are the sentences varied in length, or do they all run the same? Fix the rhythm. Then give me the final version only. No preamble, no explanation of what you did.
